Letting go is of the paramount importance. I would say it is to be your theme for the upcoming months. Why would anyone hang on to anxiety? Why would anyone set themselves up for heartbreak? Your insistence that something has to be the way you want and not another way is a great source of heartbreak. As much as you don't like to think so, that makes you the source of your own heartache. I do not say you are the cause, for there is no cause, beloveds, except that you fervently believe something has to play out the way you perceive it should.

Whatever you are afraid of, there is no need for you to fear it. That you are afraid of your own shadow is very true. When there is no death beyond the body, what is there to fear? When there is no loss, what is there to fear losing? When you don't own anything, what can you lose? Paths cross back and forth. Because a path is temporarily out of your sight does not mean the path is lost. What you perceive as loss is merely a dip in the road.

There is nothing for you to lose. And, if there were, you can't lose it. You can't lose what exists.

If there were no attachment, there would not be suffering. If you could take even death of beloved ones in your stride, where would attachment live? Because of Human attachment, you think something terrible has happened when a loved one dies. You mourn the whole concept of death of the body, as if the existence of the body were everything. I know that death of the body is big for you. I know that suffering is big for you.

Referring to the Heavenletter right before this one, I do not mean to say to always follow your whim. I am saying to follow your heart. Your heart is a good rudder. But in no way do I wish to imply that you do only what you feel like doing when you feel like doing it. You may not feel like going to work or school. You may not feel like getting out of bed. That doesn't mean you always wait until you feel like it. Please tell Me I have clarified the difference.

When you have a question about your life, little or big, it doesn't really matter much how you answer it. You have a choice to make here and there, and you make your choice. No matter how great your decision may seem to you, it is only a decision. Whatever choice you make, in one sense, nothing is changed. Oh, yes, of course, the surface may change, yet the surface is only the surface. Underlying the surface, is a strong force that works for your good. In the big picture, in the really big picture, whatever choice you make isn't going to matter that much.

Beloved Child, you stand in the doorway. I ask you to come in, yet you stand in the Doorway of Heaven as if you did not know you had the right place. You wander around outside, hesitant to ring the doorbell. Even if you did not have the right place, still, press your finger on the doorbell. I assure you that you do have the right place, but even if you did not, ring the bell that brings Heaven to your door, beloveds.

You have been mixed up as to where you are. You think you are outside something. You think you are outside My heart when you are the very substance of it.

If there is any bowing down to do, I will do it. I am at the height from which a bow can come. Come to My height, beloveds, and then you will bow down to yourself. As it is, beloveds, you work hard while I sit and enjoy. You go blindly through life while I know life backwards and forwards. You get stymied, troubled, anxious while I am content. You do all the work, and I sit watching the television of the world. You deserve a medal, and I will pin it on you.
